i have done masters in english literature.i dont think its a less scoring subject.its a good subject.but i admit marks kuch zbrdst n ate

Literature is undoubtedly a thing of interest to many but opting it in css wouldnt be without calling a calamity upon yourself. The purpose is not to discourage you or belittle this subject, its just the way css dynamics work. English Literature has not been a very good scoring subject in css until last result. In 2010 it has somewhat encouraging score. Even then if you can score 60-70% marks with average work in other subjects than English Literature, going for English Literature just doesnt seems justified. Anyways, if you are a hardliner, GO FOR IT! For rest, who pay some heed to free of cost piece of advice, look for other subjects.

Default High-Scoring,Low-Scoring
Come on guys!!!!!!!!Do you still believe in this scoring non-scoring myth? I mean just look at the DMC's of 2010 failed candidates. Arn't they enough to tell all of us that there is no permanent high-scoring low-scoring subject. Indopak,islamic history jornalism the subjects hitherto considered as very scoring were a huge let-down. n Who is to say which subject will yield good scores next year??????????
So plz stop categorizing subjects. The only lesson one can learn is Go for the subjects you like the best and put your 100% in that so when the result is out u would be among those who cleared (even if your subject was "low-scoring"that year)

Hira Ali Rao with the roll no 5538 got 120 marks in literature, 70 in Composition and only 41 in Essay.

Dear i've got 118 in English literature in CSS 2010 written examination. I was also confused about opting it or not, but I'm glad I did it, and thanks to Anne the anonymous1, I'm still confident to opt it in 2011 too.

Khurram sahib this subject has always been so for those who opt for it. generally ppl think that this is not scoring just because of the misconception. but those who opt, always score good.
