Mam ! I'm chemical Engineer and going to take 2018 exam .I'm giving five to six hours a day .And please gave some tips regarding English subjects.

ES was not my subject in previous examination.

Practice at least 1 essay, 1 comprehension, 1 translation paragraph and 1 precis in a week. Also practice punctuation paragraphs. Start with past papers.
For other parts of paper. Firstly get grip on grammar, tenses, change of voice and narration.
Along with these get lists of all kinds of objective. Divide list according to days you have for preparation and leave 1 month at least for revision. Start practicing analogy online. Following lists are required to be prepared.

Synonyms
Antonyms
Prepositions
Idioms
Pair of words
One word substitute

I have found book by Hafiz Kareem Dad Chughatai very useful for English.

I a following the book written by Imran Bashir (PMS) by JWT. Do not buy to the point book. I have seen MCQ book by Imran Bashir as well. If you want a MCQ book then go for that one which is according to syllabus. Make sure you prepare past papers as well. They are very important.
