I think miskeen is a word for a person that doesnt have both parents i.e. father and mother; where as yateem is a word for a person that doesnt have either of one parent

So how it can be an antonym of yateem

Correct me if i am wrong

As per my knowledge Yateem is the word for someone whose father is not alive and word Maskeen is used in two ways; one is for someone whose mother is not alive and second is for someone who is poor and needs to be helped out.

I also don't know any Antonym for Yateem.

Default No antonym for yateem

Dear All,

Please think it logically, antonym for yateem is a person having father, Maskeen can be its synonym but not antonym. A person having father is a general and common phenomenon, so there is no pet one word antonym for yateem. Its antonym is a person whose father is alive, nothing else.

I hope you can understand my logic.

Regards,

No, yaseer is not its antonym.

Antonym of orphan is parented and there is no word for parented in Urdu.
