Question Should I go for MA urdu before applying for CSS?

slam....
i want to go for ce 2011 and before that i want to appear in m.a urdu... plz suggest should i go for it????? i think it will be helpful for me to prepare 200 marks for css as i have ample tym to prepare for css... i ve already started indo pak history and pak affairs.... and my preparation for m.a is gud as well....

Well !If you are particularly interested in Urdu literature and have a sufficient background knowledge of it plus want to earn a degree in literature , then it is OK! go for it.But just to cover the CSS syllabus,I think , it is not desirable .Because the CSS syllabus is quite shorter than MA Urdu course and this(MA Urdu) could consume a lot of your time and effort.

The CSS syllabus can be covered without doing MA. Believe me.....it is not that upstream.

For more info about Urdu just Put your queries here ....You would be replied instantly......

i dn think so that smone who is not interested in urdu can do m.a urdu.... i already have m.sc degree so if m attempting it so it means it is my desire.... yup i hv read the syllabus of css and i knw it is tooo shorter thn of m.a but.... i want to do welll as urdu is my passion and ths is not for the reason to only cvr the syllabus of css thanks for ur suggestions

AOA ! i am also an aspirant for CSS 2011 and i am thinking to take Urdu as an optional subject.kindly, suggest me if i should take this subject, it would be merely because of my interest in this subject that i am opting or it, i have quite a little background knowledge of it,as i have my done my graduation in mechanical engineering.

well if u have interest to do it u should opt it but u said that u dn't hv background knowledge it is not so tough to get... basic need according to me is interest... yup it is lengthy so u need more concentration... u can ask abt the books and any other queries regarding urdu
