دیکھیے میں آپ کو دوسرے ناولوں کی بات تو بعد میں بتاؤں گی، میں ’راجہ گدھ‘ کے متعلق آپ کو بتا سکتی ہوں۔ آج وہ سترہ اٹھارہ سال سے سی ایس ایس کے امتحان میں لگا ہوا ہے۔ ڈاکٹر اجمل آپ کو یاد ہوگا، نفسیات دان تھے گورنمنٹ کالج کے پرنسپل بھی رہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے اسے مقابلہ کے اس امتحان میں لگایا تھا۔ میں یہاں پر بیٹھی تھی اور میرا کوئی ارداہ نہیں تھا کہ میں کوئی ایسا ناول لکھوں گی۔ ’راجہ گدھ‘ کی طرح کا، ان دنوں ہمارے گھر میں ایک امریکن لڑکا ٹھہرا ہوا تھا۔ وہ بہت کوشش کرتا تھا کہ امریکن تہذیب، امریکن زندگی، امریکن اندازِ زیست سب کے بارے میں یہ ثابت کرے کہ وہ ہم سے بہتر ہے۔ مسلمانوں سے بہتر ہے۔ تو ایک روز وہ میرے پاس آیا اور مجھ سے کہا: اچھا مجھے دو لفظوں میں، ایک جملے میں بتائیے، آپ صرف چھوٹی سی بات مجھ سے کیجیے کے اسلام کا ایسنس (جوہر) کیا ہے؟ میں نے اس سے کہا کہ آپ یہ بتائیے کہ عیسائیت کا ایسنس کیا ہے؟ اس نے کہا: عیسائیت کا ایسنسن ہے Love - "Love thy neighbour as thyself" یہ ایسنسن ہے عیسائیت کا۔ میں نے کہا اسلام کا جو ایسنس ہے وہ اخوت ہے، برابری ہے، بھائی چارہ ہے brotherhood ہے۔ کہنے لگا چھوڑیے یہ کس مذہب نے نہیں بتایا کہ برابری ہونی چاہیے۔ یہ تو کوئی ایسنس نہیں ہے یہ کہہ کر وہ تو چلا گیا۔ یقین کیجیے، یہاں پر پہلے ایک بہت بڑا درخت ہوتا تھا سندری کا درخت۔ سندری کا درخت ہوتا ہے جس سے سارنگی بنتی ہے۔ اس کے بڑے بڑے پتے تھے اور وہ یہاں لان کے عین وسط میں لگا ہوا تھا۔ وہ ایک دم سفید ہو گیا اور اس پر مجھے یوں لگا جیسے لکھا ہوا آیا ہو: اسلام کا ایسنس حرام و حلال ہے۔ مجھے معلوم نہیں تھا کہ اسے میں نے کیوں کہا۔ کیونکہ اس ہر ایکشن (عمل) سے دو چیزیں پیدا ہوتی ہیں۔ جتنے کمانڈمنٹس ہیں یا تو وہ حرام ہیں یا حلال ہیں۔حلال سے آپ کی فلاح پیدا ہوتی ہے اور حرام سے آپ کے بیچ میں تشنج پیدا ہوتا ہے۔ آپ میں ڈپریشن پیدا ہوتا ہے آپ میں بہت کچھ پیدا ہوتا ہے۔ میں نے اس امریکی لڑکے کو بلایا اور اسے کہا: یاد رکھنا اسلام حرام و حلال کی تمیز دیتا ہے اور یہی اس کا ایسنس ہے۔ اس کےبعد میں نے یہ کتاب لکھی اور میں آپ کو بتا نہیں سکتی کہ کس طرح اللہ نے میری رہنمائی کی اور میری مدد فرمائی اور مجھے یہ لگتا ہے کہ یہ کتاب میں نے نہیں لکھی مجھ سے کسی نے لکھوائی ہے۔ اس کے بعد آپ کو پتہ کہ میری بہت ساری کتابیں ہیں۔ پچیس کے قریب کتابیں میری ہو چکی ہیں۔ اور جتنا بھی اس پر کام ہوا ہے میں آپ کو بتا ہی نہیں سکتی کہ کس طرح ہوا ہے۔

or mera zate khyal ha k bano appa na kaha k yah novel mj c likya gya ha to boht c cheeze insan sa khud ba khud surzad ho jate hain or insan usy apne akkal k matbik justify krta ha mera zaate khyal ha k is novel ka markazee theme mohbt or juunoonit ha na k hallal or harm and i can proove it
