ایک، ایک پھول بہت یاد آیا
شاخِ گل جب وہ جلا دی ہم نے

آج تک جس پہ وہ شرماتے ہیں
بات وہ کب کی بھلا دی ہم نے

شہرِ جہاں راکھ سے آباد ہوا
آگ جب دل کی بجھا دی ہم نے

آج پھر یاد بہت آیا وہ
آج پھر اس کو دعا دی ہم نے

کوئی تو بات ہے اس میں فیض
ہر خوشی جس پہ لٹا دی ہم نے

Is ghazal k pehlay shair mein faiz apnay dil ki takleef ka izhaar kertay hain.mehboob ko mukhatib ker k kehtay hain k mein ne apnay dil ko kuch is tarah saza di hai k teri her baat bhula di.Goya shaayir yaadon ko dil se mitanay ki baat b kerta hai aur sath is haqeeqat ka aitraf bhi kerta hai k ye dil k liye ksii saza se kamm nae.kiun k Yaaden he sermaya hoti hain aur ye dil ko baagh o bahar kerti hain jesa k aik aur jaga faiz kehtay hain;

Raat youn dil mein teri khoyi hui yaad ayi,
jesay weeranay mein chupkay se bahaar aa jaye..

baqi tamam asha'ar mein bhi ye e baat dohraai gayi hai k shaa'ir ab mehboob ko bhula chuka hai mager haqeeqat is k mutzaad hai.baqol Farhat Abbas Shah;

jahan jahan barsaat uterti dekhi hai,
her soo teri yaad bikherti dekhi hai

aakhri shaer mein wo aitraaf ker leta hai k us k mehboob mein kuch tou aisa anokha pann hai jo us ne apni her khushi usi pe luta di.ye he waja hai shaa'ir k iraday k baa'wajood wo apnay mehboob ko bhula nae sakta.aik aur jaga Faiz isi baat ka izhaar kuch youn kertay hain;

Tu ne Dekhi hy wo PESHANI' wo RUKHSAR' wo HONT
Zindge jin k Tasawar mei LUTA di hum ne

Tujh pe uthi hen wo Khoi hui Saahir Ankhen
Tujh ko maloom hy kiun umer Ganwa di hm ne!!!

Bujha Suraj Hay Jaisay Chand Bhi Be Noor Lagta Hay
Zamana Phir Mujhay Ab Talab-E-Mansoor Lagta Hay

Yeh Zalim Jis Tarah Say Khailtay Hain Khoon Ki Holi
Frishta Is Sadi Main Phoonk Day Ga Soor Lagta Hay

shaayir kehta hai k ye khoon tou badshahon ki khatir b nae baha k wo khoon baha he de detay aur maqtool k ghar walon ko kuch sila milta.aur na he ye khoon Allah ki raah mein baha hai.ager ye jaan jahad kertay hue deen k lye di jati tou aakhirat ka soch k he dil ko sakoon aa jata.ager ye khoon kisi jang k maidan mein behta tou is k lye aizaaz ki baat hoti.is khoon k cheentay jang k parcham pe nazer aatay tou dunya walon ki nazer mein is maqtool ko pazeeraai milti.mager afsos ki baat tou ye hai k ye khoon in mein se kisi maqsad k lye b nae baha.
ye yateem bachay ka lahu tha.koi nae tha jo qaatil ka garebaan jhanjorrta.koi munsif itna mehrbaan nae tha k wo apna qeemti waqt ik be'aasra k lahu ko insaaf dilanay mein lagata.baqol faiz;

banay hain ahl-e-hawas muddaee bhi, munsif bhi
kisay wakeel karen, kis se munsifee chaahen

aakhir mein Faiz khud he kehta hai k is qatal ka na tou koi saboot hai aur na he koi gawah so ye qissa tou paak hua..kon is ka ab hisaab le ga..ye ik khaak pe sonay walay ghareeb aur be'aasra shakhs ka lahu tha so khaak mein he mil gaya,youn hisaab baraber hua.

ja-ba-ja biktay huye kucha-o-bazar main jism
khaak main lithrrey huye khoon main nahlaye huye
