Amjad Ali Shakir's book covers whole syllabus.

Beside this (for comprehensive study) must read MA urdu guides(hissa awal and doum).

Prepare history part from "Urdu Adab ki Mukhtasar Tareen Tareekh".

Also go for "Meer-o-Ghalib ka Khasoosi Mutaliya"

You have a lot of time so it is better to go through all the novels.

They won't take much of your time. Don't take burden rather enjoy the reading. They are interesting books.

This reading will help you in questions as well as in "Salees Urdu".
