zoology by Stephen A. Miller is the best book to cover the syllabus.

Medical importance of Platyhelminthes includes many flatworms which are responsible for different kinds of infections. Go ahead with the name of causative agent, disease it causes and a brief description of life cycle, depending upon the marks of the question.

2 pages or 400 words will be enough.

It depends upon the type of question. for example, if you are attempting any parasitic adaptations or life cycle of a cestode parasite you can complete the question on one and half page along with life cycle sketch. But when you are going to write about replication of DNA then it may takes 3 or more pages to complete the question. so type of the question determines the length.
