zoology for you can be real easier choice as you have done BDS
paper I.... get punjab university BSc books by Muhamamd Ashraf
paper II... follow the scheme like
physiology,,, nat short Medical book like shamim
cell biology... histology by laiq hussain
evolution...again book by m ashraf
ecology.... again by m ashraf
genetics.... make a list of past 10 year topics... wont be more than 20... and prepare them from net or any other genetics book

I think P.S Verma is a good choice. Studying Guyton for CSS would be like reading an entire news paper just to find out the date.

PS verma and guyton... totally useless from CSS point of view
no body even studies Guyton during MBBS, its so hilarious that such a weird advice is being floated regarding CSS Zoology paper

I think you did'nt study guyton and dnt make such useless claims.To fetch gud marks one has to workhard and refr gud buks.
All candidates read guyton and i myself read both volumes of guyton.

Guyton is quite comprehensive and lengthy book, definitely good for clearing up concepts.one is not supposed to read the whole book,selective study is required for making your own notes or for reference.there are alternatives like BRS Physiology,Kaplan physiology and Firdous physiology(MBBS students might know these books).

AFRMS i already said these words which u posted in this thread.
Studyng guyton 4 zoo means selected topics.I mentioned these topics in one of my posts.
