Question Discuss Zoology

Well i have a question regarding Zoology paper-A if anybody who is opting zoology could answer me. I wanna ask that how u guys are compiling stuff for Paper-A. Are u people covering the whole course as requirement or doing some important queries from the past papers? Both vertebrate and invertebrate zoology courses are lenghty that is why i am failing to study it through and through.

Regards

Hi dear,
That,s true that both invertebrate and vertebrate zoology syllabus is very lengthy and it is very difficult to study the classification upto the orders and subordres. One solution for this is "Harley and Miller" book of Zoology. It is recommended by University of Punjab 4 B.sc. students. This is very comprehensive. To some extent it covers the large portion of vetebrates and invertebrates in a very precise manner so, for objective portion of paper it is suitable because almost all aspects of vetebrate and invertebrate anatomy, physiology, their mode of reproduction and life cycle of some major invertebrate parasites and their larvae, etc a re described effectively.
If some one has not enough time to prepare all this is the suitable one. But, see other books as well.

W/Salam,

As the students at university level are told that B.Sc=M.Sc so then of course the text books of B.Sc is up to the mark for the preparation of CSS zoology.I would suggest you to study (EL Jordan and Verma) books for it's preparation in order to clear your concept and it will provide you the platform to understand the high level books (i.e. of English writers). The above mentioned writers books are very comprehensive and especially from the diagram point of view. It's the methodology of my preparation too.

Default Regarding Zoology Preparation

Their is a Key way to study science subjects as far as my experience and consultation says..
You must have a complete grip on one good book (Miller serve the purpose)
but that book will only serve as your fundamental book..
Consult other books randomly and take notes and get them sticked to your fundamental book..
This is a Key to success for every competitive exam either it is USMLE, MRCS or MRCVS level...Formula always work..
