From the moment the idea of evolution being conceived in mind of CHARLES DARWIN to this age almost every aspect of natural sciences and even social sciences are judged through the lens of evolution. so am starting this thread to discuss every dimension of evolution. All zoologists and those who have chosen zoology as his/her optional to discuss evolution.

The term evolution was first used by Charles Bonnet...term is derived from Latin which that means the doctrine according to which higher forms of life have gradually arisen out of lower.
Evolution has been defined as a gradual orderly change from one condition to another.
In other words,it maintains that the different kinds of organisms that we see today have evolved from common ancestors over millions of years.
CHARLES DARWIN has defined evolution as"descent with modification",that means evolution is a process by which related populations diverge from one another,giving rise to new species.
