Mercantile law or International law CSS 2021

Kindly, suggest me about the selection between Mercantile law or International law. I have no background of any of them, but as per syllabus I think mercantile law is more like memorizing.

Both subjects are good. You should learn Section/Article numbers of Acts/ Statutes to secure good marks. Reference to the relevant case laws while answering the question is also appreciated.
