Default Theoretical Perspectives of Crime and Criminality

Under the head Crime and Criminality: Theoretical Perspectives, there is Sociological Theories. Now there are a handful of sociological theories put forward. Should we go through all of them or only the ones listed in the syllabus?

And also, what level of detail should we go into - a mere grasping of concept or a breakdown of criticisms and implications?

Thoughts and suggestions will be sincerely appreciated.
