Actually I just followed the outline of syllabus, read 2-3 foreign authors and mainly research papers (or articles). I will suggest you to read reasearch papers as they will generate your analysis and you will be able to find data related to Pakistan. And most importantly do not forget to give examples in every question. As far as available books in market are concerned, I will not refer you even a single book.

I did find this subject very interesting and easy as compared to that of international law. Well i was hoping to get between 70-85. If you are trying to cover 2-3 subjects at a time and give 4-5 hours per day to this very subject then you will cover this subject within 10-12 days.

initially i prepared criminology then i went for IL because IL was considered quite a scoring subject . But i find IL very uncomfortable whenever i pick up its book . Since i have already prepared IL for a month .I am perplexed whether to switch it with criminology .
what is your suggestion .?

Habiba Daud Thursday, September 27, 2018 02:30 PM

Well I also opted i law but the same thing happened to me....this subject failed to develop my interest thats why i switched to criminology but keep it in mind i did not cover even a single topic of i law. So if you have covered more than 20-25% syllabus and you think that you can do its remaining syllabus easily then go for i law otherwise just change your subject. If i talk about myself i cannot stick to a subject that is unable to occupy me. Just analyze yourself and take your decision.

should history of the USA be replaced with criminology....please suggest.

Assasin Friday, September 28, 2018 11:00 AM

I have prepared IL almost 90 % but it was very difficult for me. It was all because of the scoring factor of IL .but now the scoring factor oF IL is history .i dnt know what to do .

I have prepared IL 90% but it was quite difficult for me. the only reason that compelled me to opt For IL was its scoring trend .Now the scoring factor of IL is history .M thinking to get rid of it .

If its just because of the result of this year but you have prepared this subject then do not even think about this. Rest on you.

I never believed this scoring trend. For me its your interest and hard work that really matters. If a subject is high scoring and you are unable to develop your interest then you can easily flunk that subject so never and ever follow this scoring trend.

can you please send me your notes?

I'm thinking about switching criminology with statistics. My background is in mathematics but since syllabus of maths is so long, I'm thinking to opt for statistics. It's interesting and scoring. But on the other hand it's unpredictable as well. You can't write on your own.. criminology is a also scoring but I'm lacking interest in it. Plus if I'll not opt subject from my background it'll make me feel guilty later on. But it's a risk as well. Confused! Did anyone opt for statistics? What was your experience?? Pls share!!!
