Plz suggest me *best* books for preparation of "International Law" , after that i do not need to study further books

Does it cover the whole syllabus? Could you please upload the book's table of contents?

I presume this Agarwal guy is the same who has also written books pertaining to political science. His political science book is glutted with errors. I wont wonder if same is the case with his books pertaining to international law.

Malcolm Shaw's International Law, published by Cambridge University Press, is considered the authority when it comes to international law.

Its a thick book but exhaustive, to say the least.

I don't think dea will be any buk covering di whole slybs bt let me tell you dat i m preparing I.L from S.A Kapoor's buk, 1 af di recommended buks. It's a gud 1, easy to undastan. dere will be a few topics u will not find dea bt most of di topics r included.

Did you ever pay heed to the warning in red at the top of the page?

In order to develop the basic understanding about International Law, I would suggest the book titled, "Public International Law", of LLB (Part-2, Punjab University) by N-Series. This book is the core text book of Punjab University International Law course. It gives you a good basic working knowledge about the International Law.

The reason I am suggesting you to read this book first is because most of the books written by other authors are their commentaries. Their commentaries are written in pursuance of the knowledge they already have in mind. Therefore, in order to understand their commentaries you have to have the same working knowledge in your mind too. That working knowledge is provided by a book such as the one I mentioned above. This book will give you an idea about what other authors are talking about.

Nope! That is R. C. Agarwal (Book: Political Theory)
International Law has been written by Dr. H. O. Agarwal — and it is one of the best IL books to date (for coverage up to 20th century). Covers wide range of Topics. Easy. Comprehensible.

I used Jan Klabbers and Malcolm Shaw. Both are very good books. It is recommended to use Shaw as he is not only recommended by FPSC, but sometimes you need to frame your answer with a certain definition/perspective, and in such cases you need to have an authority to back your answer.

Jan Klabbers' is a very recent book. The book's 2nd edition came out last year. It is very reader-friendly. Cambridge is the publisher. I had an easy time reading this book, and it also broadens your perspective when you read from 2 different sources.
