Kindly provide me some recent cases of blockade and tell me can we give example of Ghaza blockade in this section??

its intervention was based on threat from Saddam Hussain that he will attack on USA by using nuclear weapons,his links with extremists group specially with Al Qaeda. USA said that iraq is possessing nuclear weapons n it has no much security to secure them and they will gi in the hands of Terrorists group n they will use it against USA and other European powers(it was said reason)
but the hidden reason is oil reserves which iraq is having. remember that Iraq is folowing SAUDI ARABIA in having oil reserves(2nd) so usa wanted these resevers and last but not the least and very important reason is that USAn wants itself at the borders of IRAN to threat Iran as IRan is an alarming threat for USA n Israel.

Afghanistan

Afghanistan has own important Geo political importance in South asia and its the only route for west to warm seas.. and Afghanistan is rich in mineral resources which USA want to explore these mineras and wants it direct route to warm seas n to counter china with help if India.an d dont want Pakistan to use Afghanistan as it Second base against India.

it was not humanitarian intervention ..if you want clear view if this intervention and war on terror just read out BUSH DOCTORINE in which every thing will be cleared

Ofcourse it is not on the humanatarian ground .i just gave an example from the diffrent types of intervention on which one country can intervene.i think those interventions were based either on self denfence or intervention to prevent illegal intervention ground.What is your opinion??[
