Employment bond

Assalamualaikum everyone,

I need help regarding the enforcement of employment bond. As i have served 11 months of a 12 months employment bond. Now i have got better opportunity at some other company. Can i resign from my current company. I have doubt that they may enforce bond. Can anyone guide me through this. Regarding the legal repercussions of break a employment bond.

Request the company to delay your joining for a month due to official commitment at your old office. They probably let you join after a month. Talk to them.
