Default How to Study D F Mulla' Principles of Muhammadan Law

I have Selected Muslim Law & Jurisprudence and picked DF Mulla from recommended books while studying Illustrations are given at the end of Topic. Now, i am confused whether these illustrations are part of topic or just given for the understanding of the topic. Meant to say if someone understand without the illustrations then he/she isn't bounded to write or illustrateit in the paper. Please Help. Thanks

D.F Mulla covers only the law portion and not the jurisprudence portion. You'll need both D.F Mulla's and Sir Abdul Raheem's books. Regarding illustrations when you have been asked in questions to elaborate with examples and cases then you'll have to explain your answer with illustrations.

However, some question might require illustrations to get a clear idea when explaining so you have to figure it out too that which questions will need illustrations to support your answers.
