yep please mention those twelve chapters. Additionally, i would request member to post the methodology to answer the questions. I mean the way through which we could attain good marks since Muslim law is a technical subject.

aoa
THE IMPORTANT CHAPTERS (in the book of Mullah):

1- gift
2- will
3- family laws(marriage,dower,divorce,guardianship,maintenan ce,parantage)
4- wakf
5- sources of islamic law

ORGANISING THE ANSWER;
the following pattern should be followed while attempting a narrative question;
a- give an introduction
b- its best to start the answer with the relevant ayat or hadit
c- give relevant case law
d- then comes the main body of the solution which should be in accordence to the question.e.g a repeatedly asked question in css is Write a note on gift of Musha.
one must give;
1- couple of definitions of gift as well as musha
2- relevant views of jurists should be given
3- essentials of musha
4- whether a gift of musha is possible under islamic law or not
5- if not then mention the exceptions if any
6- conclusion..it may also contain a case law

Well for the specific Mulla's book you will have to first abstract material out of it cz he has written in details providing more of references then the material....so if you're not really the LAW student then it ll create a kinda fuss for you....
But if you go for the books which have been specially prepared for CSS preparation by already shortening the required material as per requirement then you will not waste extra timee.g many ppl prepared from Emporuim's or Jhangir's bookfor Muslim law and if you 7-8 hours daily it can even be covered in 8-10 days....
But for CSS, u need to cover things comprehensively, cz short-cuts may get unexpected returns for you due to the new nature of FPSC pattern(as they ask question in everypaper on Current Affair Nature), so you must be well prepard for every sot of circumstances .....

I will recommend you to use Mulla;s book for just references and read Fayzee's book in detail along with the shortcut books like Emporium and Jhangir Exam Cram.....This will give you an excellent combination and you may end M.law around 15 days up.

Regards
