@ Abdul Rahim Chaudhry : You must not narrate your methodology as a final and absolute reality. D.F Mullah and Sir Abdur Rahim are inevitable for preparing Muhammadan law. Moreover the key-books you mentioned are quite low in substance and lack the basic logic of the subject. For instance no key book has explained the principles of inheritance as good and simple as mullah has done.
.
@ samra kanwal: In my perception you must go through the book of MULLAH. If you feel any difficulty in comprehending the substance try some summarized version of Mullah 's book.

hmmm dat was ma suggestion......i disagree wid yeww coz if u wanna attempt MPL in css so u hv to take help from guides to get max marks...u cant rely solely on DF mulla n Abdul RAhim....u hv to give much more time to read these books n if u study guides it will consume less time u will definitely get max marks ...if u hv ample time then u shud read these books to make clear ur concept ...but u will never good marks without the help of guides(Khurram aamir/MBD)...!!

but after thoroughly going through DF Mullah and sir abdur rahim, you automatically realize that all the key-books are just the wastage of time. For instance no key book explains the concept of inheritance the way mullah does. Moreover no key book has a clear view about the sources of Islamic law. No one could differentiate between qayas, ijtihad, ijma, istehsan and istadlal. I was really stunned to see the arguments and the definitions of these books.

Bro unfortunately book is published in revised editions with hardly minor changes . and of course an indian author has difference on few topics with our's law as even if you have any new book of any indian author same is the case.
By the way Nishi prohit is also good . buy any Pakistani author for study D.F Mulla is more of a help in case laws . If want data i will post here not a book but useful data in our perspective :) stay blessed
