Thumbs up I am finding D.F mulla,s book v.difficult

Asslamulekum friends,

I am goin to attempt css sis time in 2012 , my subjects brtit.history, intl.relations, sociology and m.com are almost prepared. But the remaining 100 sub has become a problem for me. I tried to study const.law but found it difficult according to my temprament, i am an urdu speaker so i cant opt Punjabi as well, public admin is also an option but i went for muslim law as encouraged by freinds that its like islamyat and its an easy n scoring subject.

I have great difficulty in understanding D.F.Mullah,s book. Its very technical n gives refrence to a number of cases in every chapter, besides the legal jargon is also a problem.

I will be grateful if you tell me the name of any book like sir abdul rahim that covers all the topics in a simple and to the point manner.

May God bless You.

Muslim Law is also one of opted subject of mine and truly speaking it is an easier and high scoring subject. I have appeared in CSS 2011 and went through this book

Islamic Jurisprudence and Muslim personal law by Dr Liaquat Ali Khan Niazi

indeed found a nice and informative book.

If you want to pass the paper go through this book but if you want to get high score then go through

D.F Mulla (Principles of Mohammedan Law and Jurisprudence by Abdur Raheem.
Outlines by Asaf A.A. Fayzee

Thanks

@Asi01
I have a query, how are we supposed to answer the question? quotation of respective law with related section and islamic reference (Quran or Hadees etc) are enough or we have to quote the suits too?
As in D.F Mullah's book with every section suits and cases have been quoted.

Thanks for initiating this thread, it's problem which I am facing too. Plz do share if get som e nice stuff on subject. D.F Mulla's book seems too difficult and it's intended for professionals as Lawyers. Although Asi also suggested a book and I will try to find and consult that Book, but I need notes or more precise attempted questions.

this book is good but if u feel any difficulty then consult islamic law post graduate /BS level notes or books .after studying this buy book of emporium publisher .best book for comprehension and objective. Mullah book deals with one section and abdur rehman book deal other section of paper. so both books are compulsory . highest score in this subject is 61 which i have seen in DMC and mine is 58.

Muslim Law isn't that technical subject. However if you are finding problems you may consult the book by Asif Malik, Emporium Publisher's book, it gives all topics as well as objective covered in this book is quite handy. You may also consult Liaqat Niazi book, its good though he didn't discuss few important topics in required details....
On the other hand there can be no denying that D F Mulla's book is authority in this regard....
Regards
