I read 'Sophie's World' back in 2006 when I was in 1st year of my university education. Philosophy is all dry if you are not curious & thinker. I read it as leisure reading and didn't really bother pondering over the questions posed in it. Simple in tone, eloquent in style, it is undoubtedly an interest piece of art.

One of da best intros to philosophy... Very simple but very lucid explanation of philosophers & their theories... Hv read it twice. Very much like but inferior to Will Durant's "story of Philosophy".. Better for those starting philosophy frm da scratch.

I have The Story of Philosophy also but i chose Sophie's World cause a bunch of people said i should. I'm definitely gonna read The Story of Philosophy after this and The Pleasure of Philosophy next, which actually i read a while back but didn't really get anything, im sure it'll make a lot more sense now lol
