dear members ,i wana know that, was allama in favour of"unity of being"concept,,i know ist he was in favour of this concept but later on he went against of this,,,,,in few books it is mentioned that,at the time of his departure,he was in favour to this cocept,,,but some scholars deny, they say that he was in favour of"wahdat-u-shahood,,,,so plz i m just confused about this,,,,,do me favour ,,and provide me some solid evidences if he was really n favour of"wahdatul wajood:thanks,,,,

i totally agree with you that iqbal was in favour of wehdat tul wajood in his ealry period but my dear the problem is that the iqbal presented before us by our damp fool historians is a molvi iqbal not an enlightened iqbal. you can read sabt e hasan's book battle of ideas in pakistan in which he he has given a nice analysis on iqbalism. and ali abbas jalal puri has written a marvelous book on iqbalism the book is "iqbal ka ilm-e-kalam" this book will provide answer to all your questions and another book written by doctor mubarak ali almya e tareekh in this book doctor mubarak has given a historical development of ideas of iqbal.

Yes Syed Ali Abbas Jalalpuri's book contains reply to your answer. According to Syed Ali Abbas Jalalpuri, at first Allama Iqbal sahib was "immanentalist wajoodi" ... After his Phd thesis on "Meta-Physics of Iran", he turned against "Wahdat-ul-Wajood". At the end Iqbal's views took the shape of "Emergent Evolutionery Immanantlism".

Thanks

Allama muhammad Iqbal's

Early age + Age of departue = Wahdat ul Wajood

Middle period = wahdat ul shahood

In His early age he was under the shadow of his father, who was also a sufi, and his mother. But in the middle period of His life, He was in philosophy, when he returned to his homeland , He was the follower of Wahdat ul Shahood.
But in his departure time, he was again in love with the unity of Being.

Default iqbal's intellectual/spiritual journey

Iqbal Shifted Frm Whdatul Wajuud To Wahdatul Sahood Bcz Of His Change In Political Views Or One Can Argue That It Ws A Shift In His Spiritual World Which Translated Into Change In His Political Ideology......he Shifted Frm Wwajood Ti W.shahood Bcz Belief In The Former Would Have Resulted In Puttig Both Hindus N Muslims In The Same Catagory Therfore The Sufis Who Were "wajudi" Used To Treat The Non-muslims With Tolerance .on The Contrary W.sahood Puts "bandagi"as The Highest Spiritual Achivement Which Cannot Be Attained Without Being Muslim...ahamad Sirhindi's Example Explains The Political Ramifications Of "sahoodi" Belif.
