I have Business background and have studied logic and critical thinking in BBA found it quite interesting that time..
Now the question is what is Philosophy's trend in css? is it high scoring? how much does this course need to get preparation?
Reply would be appreciated

Philosophy bears an encouraging and high scoring trend in CSS.
Even with average preparation you can earn upto 130 marks.I have hardly seen any student with less than 120 marks.
Other comparative advantage you will enjoy is that it demands lesser time for preparation.

Dear Philosophy is just average scoring subject, if you want to opt Philosophy on the basis of mere studying logic then you better note that there is lot more than logic, you have to study Philosophers as well, please see the syllabus outline before taking decision.....if you think you can do it then note following books, these cover every philosopher....

Introduction to Logic by Irwin Copi
A short History of Modern Philosophy by Roger Scrutton, i secured 129 but lure of Philosophy is the real thing....

the subject has proved to be very scoring but its not as easy for everyone. It is full of definition and difficult quotations and terminology and that is why majority doctors are successful to attempt this subject. So even if Subject is worth scoring , but you do not know or you do not have any interest or aptitude then its no longer helpful even. So check syllabus, if you really think you can do it then go for it. As far as Preparation concerned, Its entirely up to you.

Philosophy can be covered in Two months time while along with other subjects, otherwise it hardly needs a month.

My friend there is no doubt that Philosophy is a subject of high intelletual nature and i would suggest that only those opt it who have read any sort of Philosophy as pleasure reading, those who are interested in this subject will get good marks but those who are opting it because Merit No 2 has secured good marks and so can you, then think again, you may end up wasting your time and then switching to any other subject would be difficult. I know that hardly 1% people used to opt that subject but since they have seen the result of Merit no 2, they have started opting, same as happened with Psychology.....

and Philosophy is not opted by Doctors, they might do worst in it, being Doctor and being good at philosophy are two different things, i don't know they study Philosophy in MBBS......

I doubt that you will find a teacher for that in any academy, you will have to go to an individual teacher, look my friend a teacher can't make you good at this subject if you are not interested, i think you must revisit your decision, however i can guide you, i also live in Lahore, my mail is in profile, contact me i can guide you in this regard.....
