Language,definition and symbolic logic.

The portions of Language to be covered in paper(1) are vague language, emotive language and ambigious language along with their different types and hindrances they create in clear and unbiased thinking.
The portion of definition include all types of definitions, their role in reducing ambiguity and their role in aristotelian logic.(Have time then do rules too)
The Portion of symbolic language include the five symbols, their truth tables and their significance.
A ll material to be prapared from irvin copis logic, and critical thinking by moore and parker.

Copi is a decent book for people having no background in Philosophy. You can purchase it from Anees Book Corner in Main Market, Lahore.

Dear,
I think if you have covered the portion of traditional logic in deduction then you need not to cover the whole symbolic logic.
just go through the symbols and their importance in logic. Symbolic logic is tricky and may take much time to cover it.

Thanks and regards
