Default Journalism Vs Sociology ?
facing confusion. can seniors guide me please which one is a better choice Journalism or sociology.
i don't have any background knowledge of both subjects but i want to select one of them.

The course of journalism is short and easy, and if you are a daily reader of any newspaper or if you watch any News channel on regular basis, consider your 40% paper of journalism is already prepared. Check out the past papers of both subjects. It will help you in selecting the right subject. And also if you have not read this thread, go through it. Sociology is an easy subject, its related to the society and every man of above average acumen can easily write about it as long as he/she knows basics. Here you have to explain mostly in terms of subject specific language that you will find in every book on sociology. Overall it is an interesting and worth opting subject.

Both are scoring ones. Opt Sociology if you want to have an interesting subject and opt journalism if you want a 'ratta' subject(to some extent)...

Dear journalism is easy and short subject, although if you don't prepare but you can solve it because of its analytical nature. It hardly requires 2 to 3 days for preparation.

if it take only 2-3 days to prepare then it is very good..please share notes or book which is better to prepare mass com is short time

Don't plan to cover it in 2 or 3 days, this is praticed by those who are short of time, you should put in serious efforts since you enough time. Read books by Mehdi Hassan, Emporium and watch TV shows

@ zille, sociology is quite interesting subject but make sure you are familiar about the social terms, events, the thing which makes it difficult for me is that i cannot understand subject terminology and syllabus.
