Default Some Guideline Required

Salam all,

I have a query regarding the Arabic.I want to opt that subject but i dont have any background in Arabic can say I even dont know A B C of Arabic.
Is it necessary that to have full command on arabic i mean you must be able to speak and understand arabic perfectly.
Kindly guide me so that I opt that subject too

Walikumasalam. you do not need that kind of perfection in Arabic as you thought. Only good understanding of basic concepts, personalities of different era, poetry and prose. you will need to cram these things. Moreover, its syllabus is short enough to be covered in max 20 or 25 days. you can go through it easily.(one of my optional is Arabic) Goodluck!

dear u should go for a good teacher regarding written preparation of exam as exam is of written proficiency. Speaking excellent Arabic can help you in interview but first u must get through written exam which demands extensive written practice. students with intermediate level of written and spoken Arabic/Persian have scored more than 70% marks in written exams plus allocations.

Avoid regular use of "Netspeak" or other "cute" grammar or spelling (For example: writing "R U a woman?" instead of "Are You a woman?")
