Time needed to prepare for geography paper with no background in the subject
As is evident from the topic, I would like to know how much time is required for preparing geography, if one has no prior experience with the subject.
Also, the subject is now worth 100 marks and from what I gather there has been no reduction in the syllabus. Is it still a good choice ? |

Time required to prepare would depend, to a great extent, on your interest in the subject. If you really like it and you are aiming for the 60-70 marks bracket, I would say it may take approximately three months (considering you are also preparing other subjects alongside geo). Regarding your second question, my personal opinion is that science subjects such as geography are always good to opt because if you write what is correct, there is no reason to deduct your marks. In other words, you can impress the examiner easily, given that you have prepared well.
