Optional subjects for who've done engineering

Hello!
I desperately need help regarding my optional subjects. I've done telecom engg. and now i don't know what subjects should i opt for. I've selected a few which includes sociology, journalism, indo-pak history and geography. Now i dont know if this combination is scoring.

Also please help me regarding geography because i've no idea about this subject. Is it easy for me or can i cover it for the exam?

Its defenitely scoring dear,
Indo Pak will turn out to be scoring in 2012
same for journalism
sociology and geography are already proved to be scoring
Just start with the right approach and start preparing
best of luck :)

But still I'm not familiar with Geography and dont know if i can do it. I've selected two subjects with 200 marks. Is it alright? I mean can I get the required score by selecting two subjects with 200 marks? Because I've rarely or not seen anybody selecting two 200 marks subjects.

Also please provide me with the names of some geography books relevant to this exam? I'll appreciate it.

yr i m a mechanical engr and i selected Indo Pak history. 200
the thing is that before finalising the subjects, go through the past papers of all the subjects. How can someone possibly select some subjects without going through the past papers , so do this first.
if you see it appealing, go for it . also 2nd paper of geography covers the syllabus of sociology.
go for it dear only after going through the past papers :)
200+200 , yeah u can score good in both subjects for sure , only if you prepare well ,
so best of luck :)

chemical engineer Wednesday, August 10, 2011 10:18 PM

i am chemcial engineer but i didnt go for chemistry as its course is too lengthy to prepare in such short time frame.....thus i selected following subjects and find them pretty intresting and easier than others..
indo pak....journalism...sociology....public ad...I.R....
reason behind this selection is

Indo Pak paper 2 is simmilar to Pakistan Affairs
IR is near to Current Affairs...
Sociology topics are helping me to prepare Essay on Social Scenario..:clap
Public Ad and Journalism are quite easy..:))

i prepared little for 2011 attempt but couldnt due to some reasons....but i will in 2012 InshALLAH
one suggestion to all aspirants to plz join an academy to get the tips and tricks of trades...u will find it very helpful as i found.....

opting 2 subjecs of 2oo marks is not really a good idea......caz they will take plenty of time and if the examiners have crush on any of these two subjects in 2012 and they didnt prove scoring then it will b a worst situation :excl:

Salman bhai app Past papers dheko
Everybody has different apptitude and learning pace. Time frame to prepare a subject varies from person to person , coz it is based on the above mentioned qualities.
Go through [past papers , select a subject acg to your interest and go for it
don't waste time now
hope it helps :)

I urge seniors or present CSPs to please comment and give me advice regarding option of 2 subjects of 200 marks. I desperately need guidance in this matter.
