Geography Paper I marks. Please help for 2014
 

Geography Paper 1 marks have been low.
I secured
Paper I 36
Paper II 61


Please help in better preparation for 2014.

Shocking , such a tough marking and questions created conundrum in the paper , so from now , compulsory and optional are level playing ground.

The rumor was going around for a couple of months about Geo and Psy. I don't want to admit, but I think it has been struck badly :con

My score in Geography
Paper I = 50
Paper II = 67

My friend's score in Geography is [B]67,79 [/B]in this attempt. She has been failed in Essay....Though she is DMG currently, CE12. In her first attempt, her marks were good as compare to this attempt.........(I am following her notes)

and another my friend has got 35, 56....

Which book are you following?

I score 52 in paper A and 59 in Paper B total 111
last time my score was 121 with very little prep as compare to this year

If she is already DMG than what was the need for taking CSS exam in 2013.... No offense, Just curios

Can you please share your strategy of preparing or attempting the geography paper? Kindly be as detailed as possible.

i got just 33 because i deserved so due to shaky preparation. i have retained geography again for CE 2014. If properly prepared and attempted it can fetch comparatively better score. I am fully satisfied with award of marks by fpsc in Geography paper-I=33,paper-II=62.Inshallah in the next attempt it is expected to fetch me estimated 150 marks.

in [B]CE-12[/B] she was passed in written only. Whereas, [B]CE13[/B] was her last attempt in which she got failed but got allocated in CE-12 in DMG group...

Arooj, There is no such strategy for GEO1. Just go through past papers and make notes. Try to revise them every week... Marks depend on trend. Don't follow others' strategy. Make your own strategy.

to tackle Geo2 you have to go for a comprenhensive study. since Topics are hardly repeated, you have to study more of topics. each year at least two questions come from South asia. Study these topics of SA: Population, Agriculture, Resources, and trade. Rest comes from the WORLD geography and commercial Geo. more focus on South Asian topics and Commercial topics like Crops(agriculture), fishing, farming. AND ABOUT WORLD gEO READ THESE TOPICS, uRBANISATION, mIGRATION, pOPULATION, eNVIRONMENTALISM/pOSSIBLISM, ETC.

I scored 35 and 65 in paper A and B respectively, shocking of course. My bad luck, my optional subject were psy and geog both and both had low score last year. And more bad thing, I have opted these same two subject this year as well, because result did not announced at the time of submission of forms.

brother dont worry. be confident there are candidates who have passed this year with psychology and geography so then why can't you. just believe in your hardwork and leave rest onto ALLAH. He knows what is best for you. best of luck regards
