Atmospheric pressure
Atmospheric pressure is the pressure on a unit area in the atmosphere by the gases above it. As altitude increase, atmospheric pressure decrease because less gases are found as we go higher. For understanding, its like wearing a school bag. When you will be having a dozen books in it, a large pressure would be on you as compared to wearing an empty bag. :-)
If you have any difficulty in Geography , you can post your questions here, I will try to discuss Geo with my little knowledge and it's been one of my optional subjects and it will be in upcoming attempt :)
Exclusively
brother can you tell me about "Factors of global distribution of precipitation" in section II of Physical geography. what is it and what are its contents? |
Geography is one subject that I'd recommend every candidate/aspirant to opt. The syllabus is very interesting and easy. It includes Physical Geography (Land forms, Climate, Weather Patterns, How rocks are formed, Oceanic Currents etc) and Human Geography (Culture, Population, Trade, Agriculture, Political Geography etc). Back in old days when it used to be a 200 marks subject, I scored 145+ twice with ease. Since there's new syllabi in place after 2016, it can yield 80+ comfortably. Not only that, Geo also boosts your confidence with respect to your overall understanding of the universe, world map, river issues, how people live around the world, etc. Needless to mention its importance in Pakistan Affairs, Current Affairs, Everyday Science, and Essay.
