20 years, and study atlas as much as u can. this helps in remembering locations of rivers, mounts, cities etc.

first understand what is being asked.
answer to the point in paper 1 with diags and/or maps.
paper 2 demands different strategy to attempt, elaborations with maps are appreciated.
see, some questions apparently do not demand drawing of maps but its up to you in what way you answer and how you adjust maps. but i must say maps are appreciated
