The properties n limitations of classification of map projection are hard to understand... any technique plz to understand it easily.

Question map making

guys can u tell me about the difficulty level of the subject geography?
specificly MAPS how much time it will require to master this art from scratch ?
and I am not gud with drawings and etc do u suggest me to opt geography?
