If the Pakistani journlists would have been following the British and US ethics, then there should have not been any "teething" problems here in Pakistani (electronic) media as the British/US media is very mature and unbaised.
Pakistani journlists are also very mature. It is only the black sheeps here that are distorting the image of all. They are always after plots, blackmailing, and "lifafah"
Everybody in our society is looking for the shortcuts to reach at the top and journlists are no exception.

ethics ,a big issue in journalism. A lot of debate is going on but no0 one can decide the ethics of journalism. It is the journalist who itself decide what to do nd what to avoid at the spot according to his ethics and values.
what a journalist dislikes or hates for himself should avoid to do same thing for some one else British nd american media is no doubt mature but we cant say unbiased their media is most biased in the world nd manipulating public point of view for their on purpose.

Thumbs up ethics of journalism

The ethics of journalism are : a journalist should not be biased in his approach,
he should present the report as it is, whatever he collects should be true , his reporting should be free of personal feelings and comments and that he should be honest and loyal to his duty .... IF the above principles are missing or lacking then the journalist is not worthy of being called a journalist...

This is what I perceive..please add to it as it would be helpful for all the student!
