Is Persian Good Enough To Replace English Literature?

Assalam o Alaikum ..

Actually i have decided to replace English Literature with Persian for CSS 2012, as i was suggested by seniors and friends to not to opt Literature for its notoriety of being a low scoring subject & complex syllabus ..

What i wanna know is that If Persian is a wise choice in place of Literature .. ?
Is it scoring if one prepares it properly .. ?

I will be joining the Iranian Cultural Center for classes in Persian Language .. I have also got hold of some good books regarding CSS Persian and have also opted it as a 200 marks elective subject for my B.A exams next year .. As I will appear for CSS in 2012 InshaAllah, I guess I have plenty of time for all these planned activities ..

Am I on the right course .. ? And what would you suggest to further improve my preparation & scoring chances .. ?

My other optionals include:
Islamic History & Culture
Muslim Law & Jurisprudence
Punjabi

Replies will really be appreciated ..

Regards ..

@stunner
english literature has lengthy syllabus and not easy to cope without guidance.
persian also has same problem but more easy than english literatur .comparing these 2 persian is better, keeping in view with your planning. as you are preparing for css 2012 then you have plenty time and as you scheduled your prep ,its good one.

following options can be tried if not persian :
jounalism 100 + sociology 100
or
geography 200

or if you wanna go with persian then replace muslim law with journalism or sociology either.if you want to opt muslim law and can have strong grip over it then go for it.

chose the best combination according to your aptitude.
best of luck

@ DEADLYDOCTOR

Ok, Persian is locked then .. :) (May Allah make it a wise decision for me)

I know Muslim Law is perceived to be not that scoring in comparison with Journalism or Sociology, but i'm in second year of my LLB Hons degree and will be studying Muslim Law there as well .. So i think it will be much easier for me to opt it and as i'm enrolled with University of London, we will have quality study material for Muslim Law, which will be helpful in order to grip the subject and to score good marks in CSS too InshaAllah ..

Thanx a lot for quality suggestions ..

Regards ..
