tips for persian prep.

Dear all;

Persian is an interesting subject if you really want to score good in it.
you just have to follow some tips for its prep.

1- start from literature (part-I)
2- daily learn at least 5 mas'adir. you have to buy some good book for mas'adir. a lots of books and qaida are available in market.
3- prepare a chart for grammer or usually in mas'adir book grammar tools are available.
4- start your prep from simple and small sentences. like ( wo arahay hain. wo jata hay (o rafta ast) etc.
5- use google translater.
6- follow some persian pages on facebook, BBC persian.

once you are done with literature then start poetry.. start from allama iqbal. and Rumi and lastly Sherazi..

Rumi first 5 are most important according to the repeated questions.

Hiqayat of saadi are most important.. first 20 are more then enough.

qaboos nama's theme should keep in mind..

Best of Luck.. :dd :dd

Salam & Hello,

I am planning to take up Persian as an optional despite the fact that I have no prior knowledge of the subject. I have a background in English Literature but taking it up didn't work for me in CE-13.

Any guidelines for me?
