I am teacher in Specail Education but not from psychology or special education background. According to my experience Masters in Psychology will help in Special Education and other departments too from job point of view. While special education is about way of teaching. If you want to be teacher then its good. But having a psychology degree can also get you in special education department. Remember teaching vacancies are greater than psychology in special education department. But a psychologist can have job at many other departments. Thanks
