2. To what extent in the twenty-first century you justify the role of "the mind" in Psychology.

3. Why is associative learning important? Discuss with respect to the behavioural repertoire provided by instrumental versus associative forms of learning.

4. What are the major development changes that occur during the school years?

5. How do social and cognitive processes affect behaviour?

6. What are the defining characteristics of humanistic therapy? Discuss how one might assess different psychotherapies. Which of the psychotherapies appear to be most effective?

7. Is there any harm in national stereotypes? Discuss the relevant factors which we need to take into consideration when we wish to build social harmony in society.

8. Write comprehensive notes on any TWO of the following.

(i) Stress is linked to illness, with examples
(ii) Consequences of redundancy and unemployment
(iii) Role of the reinforcer in classical and instrumental conditioning

No, I had found it easier as compared to previous year paper. At least it is better than tough papers of I law, Us history and Punjabi.

Sorry, I am unable to recall. Their level was medium. Neither too easy nor too difficult.

Did you opted for these optionals?
Which optional did you find most difficult both in terms of preparation wise as well as question paper wise?

My optional subjects were IR, IL, ES, US history and Psychology in this attempt.
I have found US history a bit difficult to prepare as I am not a good crammer. Subjective part of all papers was pretty easy for me. I like challenging general questions in which critical analysis is required. I do not like questions in which I have to write crammed stuff. I just found objective portion of US history hell difficult. Rest, in most of the subjects my objective score is pretty good. Some had medium scores but they were not as bad as US history. In compulsory, my objective of current affairs did not go well.
