Psychology is a bit technical subject and can fetch you more scores as compared to that of sociology, but it requires more amount of time and work for preparation. Syllabus of psychology is lengthy ,and in examiner's report of 15 and 16 having background in psychology is considered to be advantageous over other candidates . But ,still you can tackle this subject by studying from good sources- foreign authors. With it, diagrams, references of research papers , case studies , references of scientists etc , these things can help to boost scores. On the other side , sociology is taken as a general subject and most of the times answers are approached analytically.
