Default psychology preparation time for beginner

Dear seniors/CSPs!
Can you pls tell how much time is required for a beginner with no psychology background for proper preparation of subject? pls help! your worthful advice will be appreciated!

well depends on how you give time to the subject.with dedication and proper time table you can cover both papers within 30 to 40 days.on the whole it is an interesting subject and will not let you to divert your concentration while you study.

Thanks Nazii! Which book, according to you, will cover the subject comprehensively? (cover both papers)

psychology only has 1 paper in CSS for 100 marks since 2016. It was hit badly in 2020 but is usually a great scorer. 2 to 3 moths at a relaxed pace are more than sufficient. It was my optional as well.
