sociology has not been a very scoring subject in the past couple of years. However, i still believe that one should opt those subjects in which one has natural inclination and aptitude. yes, journalism is highly scoring subject and geography as well.

First of all, kindly accept a warm welcome by me in this useful and productive community. Now lets come on at your post; as far as my research about css subjects is concerned, psychology is probably scoring subject but also a tricky and scientific one. First paper one may perhaps tackle but the other part is too tricky and engorged, thereby one must need medical background to overcome the questions correctly on the basis. So my dear, you will be utterly able to access the understandings the questions, concepts and ideas C.S.S point of view; providing that you need to have a medical background or a doctor in family, however, there are many out there who have no backgrounds despite they are quite capable to pass this( psychology) paper, now it depends on you "how you see the psychology paper". I write some of questions help you to find out the possible answers,
1) Be relaxed and have a seat with cup of hot tea, and go through the syllabus of psychology along with all the past papers.
2) during enjoying sips of tea, ask yourself a question " are you comfortable with the syllabus and past questions ?" " can you handle the path and way of questions in your answer after reading the syllabus?"
I am sure these will work for you, whatever the answers you find, just let this forum know and get assistance.
Besides psychology, sociology, journalism and geography is O.K.
I am trying to make you clear about psychology an optional paper because 50% candidates use to fail and feel anxiety about their performance due to the wrong choices of optionals.
Hope you will have a such siting stamina for exam, point of view and appear CSP in the world stage.

dear sis sundas welcome to the forum.

wel the queries you had dropped in were about whether the subjects you have chosen are scoring or not. wel yes every subject is a scoring one, what you need is the hard work. dont be reluctant about the subjects once you have chosen them. and yes sociology is a scoring subject too. what i personally believe is that if in the past two years the results of sociology have not been satisfactory is because of the substandard content we students rite in our papers, and also other factors that add to the low scores of the students.

anyways what i meant to say is that you should not worry about whcih subject is scoring and which is not coz all subjects are scoring, just needs your hard work and your ability to have effective command on them.

about psychology notes:

well sis, pls dont rely on others notes. you should buy the recommended books and start reading from now and you should prepare your own notes.

www.mhhe.com/feldmaness1

the above link is given to u from a book of psychology aimed to help the students attempt the MCQs. the name of the book is

ESSENTIALS OF UNDERSTANDING PSYCHOLOGY BY ROBERT S FELDMAN.

the other book that i would ask you to consult is

PSYCHOLOGY THE SCIENCE OF MIND AND BEHAVIOUR BY HODDER AND STOUGHTON.

and pls prepare your own notes, because it will help you alot in many ways for the preparartion of your examz.

regards.
