sorry mam u r guiding in a wrong way ........... ap all chapter ki outline mention kar ka students ko confuse kar rahi ha plz u should mention just factors/ Determinations plz typ and theories ki out mat dah to the point answer da there r just factors basssssss no types no theories no more students r confuse about Determinations so i shal talk to the point read all which hv been mentioned in css syllabus they r just factors don't mention types in them that is wrong.. there are just factors.. factors n types different things ha same ni ap na to bora chapter ki outline mention ki ha But paper ma ono na koi sa 5 posha ha out of 8 ap 8 factors/ Determinations ka just name likha ga then on ma sa just 5 ki detail likha ga bass . css syllabus ma ono na factors ko mix up ka ka da dia ha jo students jo factors samajna ma confuse kar rah ha [B]koi sa bi 5 out of 8......... ya factors mix up ha[/B] 1...Needs, 2...attitudes, 3...sets, 4.. values 5..intrest 6..Proximity 7.. Similarity 8..set 9…emotional 10..suggestion 11..culture 12…social norms etc Otherwise inh ki just 3 categories ha [B]1..Objective factors[/B] Gestalt's law of organization aha ga all law ya law objective factors bi kahlata ha Proximity ~ Similarity ~ Continuity ~ Closure ~ Part-whole relationship etc [B]2..Subjective factors[/B] Needs, attitudes, values, personality , emotional , suggestion, interest , etc jin ka link just 1 person ka sath hota ha as individual Subjective factors hota ha [B]3..Social factors[/B] Inherent, culture, norms etc Inh 3 categories ma sa koi sa bi 5 nikal kar likh da but better ha jo css syllabus ma dia ha ap 1st who wala likha examples koi fazool ni dahni according to factor dahni ha just for length ma na 3 ya 4 examples mention karna ko kaha ha ........ jab just 5 Determinations posha jahta ha to just 5 hi likhna ha os ka lia ap ko example zayada karni perti haa others lenght ni banti question ki problem is this.................. some question just confuse karta ha ............or koi masla ni ha Determinations ka lia just Determinations bahtana ha pora perception ka chapter ni as u mentioned in ur outline.............. students r just confuse Determinations kia ha woh just just factors haa.......... regards |

almas has given outline of perception.determinants are those as i have mentioned or noor. @almas dear almas you have, psychology the science of mind and behaviour by richard gross i have that book , you just mentioned the outline as in chapter of perception of that book. your answer in the context of determinants is bit lengthy and contains extra details. on perception as a whole, yes that was very good. but look at the syllabus,the way question is being asked. also consult dictionary of psychology that too has same determinants guys i hope this is settled now. don't take it personally,just cooperate ,otherwise no use of this. we are here to correct ourselves so we prepare the right material. best of luck and reply to the next questions :happy::) keep replying |

i have told in other post in other thread i repeat it for you here
i am using morgan and king as my baseline book i read from other books and add on king's book its like from where i better understand the topic i have done fragments of topics and follow them so its bit easy and you rarely miss anything,its like general ideas to have i read or rather consult following books zimbardo and gerrig's psychology and life weiten themes and variations essentials of understanding psychology by feldman encyclopedia psychology abnormal psychology by neil developmental psychology notes sage series psychology guide ,its rough notes of my sister understanding psychology by taylor psychology the science of mind and behavior by richard gross psychology by david myers dictionary of psychology(1 of penguin and other one is a big one i don't know the publisher of it) i don't read all of them,cannot do it not possible. just pick anyone and add details in king and then cross check with another book.check the syllabus ,done with a topic when requirement is fulfilled. so it becomes comprehensive notes. extensive study let me clear my concepts as well.but i keep syllabus in front so i stick to it. |

look we have to follow syllabus and answer according to question being asked. otherwise we cannot satisfy ourselves (so much knowledge,so much can be written,so much can be added).so we have to be precise and answer accordingly. yes we have to answer according to our knowledge.but what is required is a discussion so we write the exact answer required. give outline, now if one has his knowledge one will write according to right outline what is an outline ,for me it is an outline which examiner is holding to give you marks one who checks the paper does not have time to read your paper,a quick view and an outline comes in his mind, the closer it resembles the key he is having the more marks you score i repeat we are here to correct our mistakes, clear our concepts, and solve the papers |

well see my sis, first of all. y shud i guide u in the wrong way???any benefit for me??? see the same question had confused me too when i was preparing for my papers. what u and others are saying is just what i m saying and have posted...... u people want the ready made answers which is to be very honest immaturity at this level....... yes i have given the outline from the book cos thats the answer to your question....what else shud i have given you all????????? i have studied perception in very detail when preparing for the paper, believe me now u ppl r getting confused so much...the same was my condition but what i wrote to u ppl is what i m cent percent sure is right. what differs is the way you "perceive" it and the way i perceive it........................ hope u got me. u r just mentioning them under different headings, i have just given them with no headings....thats all. and well as far as my brain works,,,,,,,,u must know the theories.... theories are where from where ur perception determinants have emerged... still if u r not satisfied,,u r free not to follow what i m saying.... and yes u r most welcome not to mention the examples :D most welcome my sis.....but for me examples are the most part of ur answer.. i posted here to be of some help to u ppl......but its creating mess and confusion for no good........... and again believe me or not................ my answer to ur question is cent percent right and CORRECT. dont look for the easy way, psychology is a science and u shud study each and every details...again i wud ask u to go through the topic in detail... the only problem is u r confusing urself by not getting the material the way it shud be.... regards!!! just woh bat kia kara jo poshi jahti ha ... wrong guide karna sa matlab tha determinants of perception jab poshi jahti ha to just determinants of perception explain kara types etc things ni as u mentioned in ur ans agar paper ma bi ahsa kara gi to marks bi ab ko wasa hi mila ga....... it is good u have studied perception in very detail when preparing for the paper but jab koi question karta ha to just os bat ka ans dia kara extra things ni......... ... 1st of all mara pass itna time hi ni hota ka ma lambi lambi post past kar sakoo but ap ka ans students ko confuse karna wala tha so moja majboran ans past karna pera........ i am not confused to explain Determinations coz i hv done master in psychology i think determinants hv been cleared 100% in above post. now here no more need to talk about this question.
