Actually I have not studied psychology in my academic years, now I want to opt this subject in css, so i need the notes which can make my concepts clear and can be helpful to gain good marks. if any one has, can mail me.

i dun think that they can be relied on solely as regards CSS.
buy some books and prepare ur topix from there.this is the best and matchless way to get to grips wid the subject.

Book: Essentials of Understanding Psychology By Robert S. Feldman is very good book for psychology. I am sure that help you a lot.

I want to share two books of psychology have a bird eyeview of it..........may b its helpful for you..... one thing i want to clear u is that i dont knw even the ABC of psychology... i really dont knw whether these notes r good enough for u or not...One of my frnd emailed it to me so i am sharing it with u people.............enjoy it ;)

i need notes on these chapters
1. meaning, phases and characteristics of growth, development and maturation, methods of developmental psychology, biological and socio-cultural factors, importance of developmental psychology, broad approaches to the study of children

2. Physical, motor and sensory development. Perceptual development, Intellectual development: Development of logical thought in early childhood. Development of concepts. Creativity. Emotional Development; patterns, characteristics. Some common emotional patterns.

3. Concept of abnormality popular and scientific. Goals of Clinical Diagnosis. Personality Assessments, Behavioral Assessment. Nature of Clinical Judgment. Sources of information in clinical diagnosis, Assessments of organizations, institutions and environment, Professional issues, The nature of professional preparation for clinical psychological work, ethical standards and legal issues.

These are chapters 1, 3 and 4 according to CSS Syllabus of Psychology Paper II
