2010 Scores of Non-Qualifiers?

Hey folks, I got surprisingly low marks in Psychology paper 2010 despite getting above 15 MCQs correct in each paper and attempting the define ten terms questions which were sure shot numbers.

I scored 56 in Paper A and 43 in Paper B.

I wanted to ask other non-qualifiers to post their scores, the ones with good scores can guide me and others since I am unsure if I should continue with Psychology or not.

My score in Psychology Paper-I 54 & II 39 with short period of studies.

My friend a doctor I-70 & II 59 = 129

Roll No =7992 66+64

Overall trend in Psychology is not bad as Journalism, Islamiat, Islamic History & Culture, Muslim Law & Jurisprudence and Indo Pak.

Iwas expecting atleast 70+ in both paperz...my paper went awsm..
Fpsc must hav changed their marking strategy this year...

i need some guidance, I'm reappearing in 2012, I've plenty of time. I'm going to opt this subject. Is Psychology easy? scoring? can you be sure of getting good marks if prepared very well?

Dear,

Psychology is very easy, interesting and scoring subject and is considered all weather friend; if you consider following things:

1. Most important thing is to select the proper books as reading so many books on the subject would waste your lot of time and energy.

2. select Ten most expected questions or more which suits you from past papers in both Paper I and II, and prepare in comprehensive manner as to fetch best possible marks.

3. If you have interest and curiousity in the subject this would create a depth and insight in learning which will create a maturity in your understanding about the way life is; and this would lead you towards fetching handsome marks.

Books which are mostly studied:

1. Essentials of Psychology By Fieldman (helpful for both)
2. Abnormal Psychology By Neil Davission Pat II.

These two books will prepare you in best pssible manner, you would find them interesting and as well result oriented.

Psychology is Easy,if you have or you can develop interest in this subject.Otherwise you will find this subject lengthy.

I cannot say whether it is scoring or not.We never know about the scoring trends.

Prepare Paper B very well.As its experimental psychology.They can do experiment on us also,as happened in islamiat this year.Got my point!

There is no Shortcut to this subject.Topics are interrelated.You have ample time,Do not follow the strategy of doing only selective topics.
