growth and maturation are almost similar and they are related to nature, whereas development involves nurture....
growth refers to the physical and orderly changes in the body with age, on the other hand development includes experience as well that how your different aspects of life developed with the passage of time....
growth is somewhat physical and development covers vast range of life....
maturation or growth is genetically controlled, development involves environmental domains as well....

growth includes,physical, mental....then there are certain stages as well...embryonic, prenatal, post natal, early childhood, childhood, late childhood, adolescence, old age etc...

in each phase then we observe social, physical,cognitive and other aspects of development.

Growth is irreversible. Growth in humans is rapid at two stages- first, during the period of gestation and two years after the birth of a child and second, during adolescence ( the age from 11 to 17 or 18 ).
[B]Maturation[/B] has diverse meanings.
One meaning that is relevant to the topic of growth is [B]"the process of being mature"[/B]. This period starts by the end of the puberty in human.
The term "development" can be used in a broader sense to define many different forms of life. However, development and growth are not similar.

Mano g you have almost said it about development and growth.
However, [B]development and growth are not similar in a sense.[/B]
The growth stops with the start of maturation. Maturity is the point of life when no more true growth occurs. An increase in the number of cells at this stage is solely used for regeneration processes. Whereas the [B]development continues in many different forms of life

i think growth ,maturation and development are three different things.growth is the increase in the physical structure of living organism.it is the increase in the organs of living things.growth is quantitive change in the bodies of living organism.
the development is the increase and expantion of mental capabilities of living organism.in other words,it is qualititive changes in the living organism.develoment is the improvement in the innante abilities of livings. for examle a person is said to be developed if he has outstanding abiliities lilke power of reasoning, logic,power of differenciation,and other abilities.
while the maturation is the combination of the above mentioned quantitive and qualititive changes in living organism.

Development is inner process
hai bazahir dono hi nashonuma but growth body ki pshyically hoti hai. jaise height ka barhna. balo ka barhna.

[B]6. Old age:[/B] [I]This starts from the 60th year till death. At this stage human undergoes tissue degeneration and is increasingly dependent.
