Psychology - Study Plan (Syllabus and Past Questions)

Psychology is an easy, scoring and interesting subject. I prepared this document by matching past question (2001-2011) with the syllabus. Should you find any misplaced entries, feel free to suggest correction. Enjoy your journey through Psychology, and lets pray for success. :))

I am glad to have your concern. I've made no attempts at notes as yet. I am doing study for the-sake-of-study nowadays (2012 is not mine). However following are the observation that I've made. That:

a) Ms Sheher Bano's books are already 'on the level' of notes. If you study both parts comprehensively I can guarantee you of 60 pc marks (i.e. 120/200); and the reason these won't go beyond this range is that these are made to fulfill 14 years requirement for education. Whereas in CSS syllabus it is mentioned that honours/masters course is the requirement.

b) combining them with VU notes you're as good as 130-135, provided you do not take objective portion lightly

c) If you want 135+ then you must consult works by foreign authors and search internet for it. For example the notes of David Myers are available online.

d) an interest in the subject makes the journey easy

Rest assured that whenever I've a useful material, I'll share w/o anybody having to question.

Take care.

If you are really seeking David G Mayer Psychology, You can get his best selling book' Exploring Psychology in Modules 8th E'

It will cost you around 900 Rs. You can get one copy from Ilmi Book House Urdu Bazar Lahore.

I got one copy, the material is awesome and comprehensive but there are some topics which CSS Exam asks but David don't hold them. You can get those topics from Shaher Bano Books.

If you want to go one step ahead from rest of the aspirants. Avoid Feldman and go for Wayne Weiten ' Themes & Variations 6th E'

I have prepared Paper one from Wayne Weitin and starting Paper two in couple of days.

Make sure for all subject past papers objective ought to be reviewed.

cheers.

Bro, I have no idea about Morgan Book. If you find all topics in there, you can consult it. After all it depends on level of comprehension. if you are comfortable with Morgan . Go with it.

I am going through morgan's book.
It's very detailed one and nicely covers paper 1 and few topics of paper 2 also.
But, again there is a problem that it's not made according to our syllabus and lacks some important topics to mention.
So, you have to go through books of local authors for them.
