Exclamation confusion regarding the areas and scopes of psychology.

I have confusion regarding the "Areas of psychology" and "scope of psychology" are they same or different. Means can we write areas of psychology under the heading of the scopes of psychology if it is asked in the paper.
Please do reply me anyone. Thank you.

Scope = Importance
Areas = Fields in Psychology e.g. Criminal Psychology, Develpomental etc etc.
