I second khuro but why don't you try this method :this is a link to topic wise past papers questions
http://www.cssforum.com.pk/css-optio...sychology.html

you will see that there is repetition with constant gaps
prepare topics wise considering the questions from past

It doent mean that you read very less. no!!!
What I and Shah is asking for, is to, do not waste your time by covering topics which are out of syllabus. But cover the important topics with full concentration and length. And learn the subjective language of psychology, as this is very important thing for all science subjects.

Well, i have decided to go for psychology but
1) i do not have any background for the subject
2) I am very bad in cramming
I also need suggestion about preparation stratgey for the subject.
How many days will be enough for the subject if i am taking start from scratches?
Is my suggestion is good to go psychology?
my optional are
indo pak (want to replace with psychology)
sociology
pashto
journalism
statistics
Psychology is a good scoring subject. At least in the past couple of yrs. I also have swapped M.Law and Journalism for Psychology, although I haven´t even started preparing it. But they say, 15 days are enough for it.

Dear, do not Believe on "they say". Everyone has different approach towards everything, if you are opting it for first time then you should start it and cover it first. Because later you might find it difficult. And then you might face shortage of time to opt anything else!!!

You are right brother, I am only revising the optionals first and will soon start with Psychology. Yes it is going to be for the first time because I had M.Law and Journalism previously and as you know, M.Law is not scoring so I am going to drop that. Journalism also has to take the same course because I do not want to give up Pashto or Sociology. But lets c, I think Psychology is not too difficult. But u are right in saying that everyone has a different approach.

Think again between sociology and journalism if you have to drop one from them, as MCQ's of journalism is very easy and could give you better marks. And sociology is lengthy though its is easy. If you take my advice then think go for journalism. But after evaluating your knowledge and interest not on my sole advice.

I am also in the same fix.

My optionals are:

Geography
Pashto
Sociology
Muslim Law
US History

Now I am thinking to induct Psychology in list but there are two options.

1) Geography out and psychology in, rest same recipe
2) Geograpahy stays and two 100 marks subjects leave to make space for psychology. Now pashto and muslim law are not going anywhere so ultimately sociology and US history will have to leave.

Members what do you suggest which option should I go for and why?

Detailed replies will be greatly appreciated

you chose a right suggestion.
dont let geography go out as it is high scoring and interesting subject.
psychology is marks making subject ONE CSP OFFICER TOLD ME . He did grab 174 marks in it having background of IT(BS-IT), so it can only be replaced with US history and M.law coz both have gone something fishy these days. pushto is marks-oriented.But,take pushto only if you can write the words properly, else replace it with journalism it's very interesting & adorable subject.
my optionals are .
1:Geography.
2:Journalism.
3: Psychology.
4: Internationl Relations.
