Dear,

Experience and history bears witness to the fact that trend of high scoring and low scoring subject is reality.Politicial science and Indo Pak must have been scoring in the past as we all know. But now they are in twilight.Indo Pak has recovered a little bit from the dry spell and psychology and IHC have been fetching good marks since last 4 years or so.A DG of FPSC has also highlighted this fact in one of his eidely publicised letter inDawn.

There have been countless incidents of those candidates who sored more than 145 in IPak in 2008 and 2009 and could manage only 100 odd in subsequent years. So one must consider this fact while choosing optionals.
Yeh Dear..But a candidate should opt Optional subjects according to his/her interest.Because interest matters a lot.
hahaha, a true reflection of a typically new and energetic CSS aspirant, keep it up buddy, you will come to face the reality at some later stage of your CSS journey...
Bilal Bhai,Nobody born as scholar.Everybody learn steadily. There's a quote of Quaid-e-Azam..."I don't believe on taking right decisions,I take decisions & make them right."
I think the same strategy should b a candidate in such a prestigious Exam.
Yeh,i'm typically new.i.e. Even a CSP used to be a typical & energetic aspirant when he/she started his/her preparation.
:)

Dear i used to have the same feelings when i kicked off my preparation of CSS, i opted the subjects that are considered least scoring i-e Indo Pak History, Political science, IR..though i scored exceptionally well in all these subjects but the fact remains there that scoring and non scoring trend of subjects is a reality not a myth...

i second your opinion that subjects must be taken on the basis of your interest but at the same time i also contradict that all subjects are scoring...
