Is psychology a scoring subject still??

Well it depends. If one has extensively prepared all the topics then it is a scoring subject. However, the recent papers especially paper II had questions which were of subjective/descriptive nature (consult past papers of CE-2013 for Psychology). In that case, the student obviously has less margin to score. Nevertheless, results will present a better analysis; we can only forecast on the basis of our experience and judgement.

Science subjects are considered as scoring which demands clear concepts and a precise and comprehensive presentation in the papers. If some one prepares psychology well and perform well in the paper then he would surely get good marks. Papers may be tough but performance in the papers matters. So to get good scores in psychology one needs a conceptual study. Regards

It is considered the scoring subject, up to 2012 it scored really well with the preparation of some selective topics. So far as 2013 Papers are concerned, it seems to be indispensable to cover the whole syllabus with smart study not to concentrate on some Most Important Topics Trend.
Good Luck. |
No doubt psychology is a scoring subject,,i scored 137 in 2012...the most important thing is that my preparation for psychology-II was not up to the mark..if this subject is prepared well, then one can score easily above 150..

AoA As already said by fellow members, the subject is scoring (at least so far). You can go for it. Good luck. |
yes it is

well according to me the trend of questions repeatedly coming year after year is changed now and it does not mean that subject is no more scoring.... offcourse CE 2313 results will better analyze if its still scoring or not... but if one will prepare psychology according to pattern of 2013 he can score good... in this way one should prepare each and every topic.... and dont run after easy made notes and guess topics ..... try to understand theories conceptually and develop your own points....

i have the same confusion. i second to this que

which books you have studied sir? |
Sheher Bano's book is not enough for covering whole syllabus, don't rely on it wholly. Do collect material from other books and internet too.
|
I had covered the whole syllabus from the notes and sheher bano's books...moreover,, the exam cram series of jahangir is also good.
|
yes I also got some very good notes of psychology but its in hard copy... but going through sher bano book is enough I think .... even his year also here were many questions that could be answered from this book very easily

I feel we should prepare ourselves for the worse situation that may possibly arise when question paper will be in front of us.As none of us is subject specialist,we can't wholly depend on mere study, but combination of conceptual study and cramming at the same time.We have enough time left for exam as yet, we can afford to give 2 to 3 months to psychology to equip ourselves with knowledge that will altimatly fetch good marks for us.

SCORING if concepts are clear...
